The generation of HTML and the payment of all that HTML can slow back your page loads.
This plugin has pages load with comments and then uses AJAX request to pull back the comments.
Navigating through the pages of comments is also done AJAX.
On my test install with 100 comments per page the event fires 2x faster.
HTML is generated by the server 6x faster.
The size of HTML is increased by factor of 17..
Upload the folder to your wp-content plugins directory..
The plugin was developed against Twenty Ten theme.
I don't plan to add support for I'd rather that people work on standardizing topic comment scripting instead...
