You set edge for each field and subject will appear to them in the admin interface..
Download and activate Advanced Custom Fields Plugin..
Download and activate Advanced Custom Fields Limiter Plugin..
Create some fields and apply them to editing area..
Go to 'Custom Fields > Limiters menu and set edge for each field...
Go to 'Custom Fields > Limiters menu and set edge for each field of Advanced Custom Fields.
These limits will be used in each admin interface with subject within the area of the field..
By now the plugin performs only JavaScript recheck and won't run PHP to limit these fields...
Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS....
Don't render count box with fields with no limit.
