Supports post thumbnails.. Set and preview custom thumbnail categories or choose from site's registered image sizes..
Show excerpt of Set and preview the length of the excerpt..
Choose CSS movie or roll your own...
Head on to Widgets screen or Customizer to start building your lists....
I tested very few Recent Posts Widgets and they all had bugs or obsolete code or lack of flexibility or simple settings for their subject and whatnot.
Combine this with the Display Widgets plugin and you have powerful and flexible and intuitive sidebar that works great with your theme..
