The Ankyler widget allows you to create link with image to page post or custom post from widget area..
The widget can be used by itself or as set of subject and or texts for terms in slider...

Click on Upload option at the top and select the ankyler. zip issue you just downloaded..
Activate the plugin through the ' Plugins in WordPress..
Use the newly added widget from the hill in 'Appearance Widgets page.
Open the widget and enter title description select image..
Select link from the pages and posts dropdown or type not internal link..
Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS....
Now makes use of the optgroup in the part for selecting custom posttype in the widget..
