Once you have banned something it will be locked in Tower where you can manage all banned users and bots.. Banhammer is designed to be as intuitive as possible and provides complete documentation via the Help tab on Banhammer screen.
Pro Tip In Armory you can double-click on IP Address or Host Name to do fast whois lookup..
Ignore Users. so you always can access Tower and your own visits will not be logged in the Armory...
After uploading Banhammer will be disabled so you can log in and restore access from the Tower.
After saving the changes you will be able to prohibit your own visits to the front-end non-admin pages on site without banning yourself from Admin Area or Login Page.
Then jump over to Armory and prohibit IP address.
Remember to restore access or delete IP via Tower when finished testing..
If you want to prohibit IP that has not yet visited page you can do so by entering URL in browser's address bar. https example. com wp-admin. banhammer-key= &banhammer-ip=.
Note that allowing sound fx in Armory used to Tower as well..
