Adds avatar upload field to user profiles inside WordPress dashboard..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins WordPress.
If you want users with file upload capabilities to upload avatars, check the option under Settings > Discussion.
If you are having problem deactivate all plugins other than this one and then switch you theme to TwentyTweleve.
If things then work, then the issue is with 3rd party theme or plugin..
Totally bypassed the Gravatar issue for WordPress.
WordPress 4.2.0 brought along with it get avatar url that can be used to retrieve URL of the avatar.
Unfortunately this plugin doesn't seem to work with this function as it continues to return the gravatar profile image even when get avatar renders the correct image..
