This plugin allows BuddyPress members to share their location when they posting activities, you can add places where you visited, nearby locations based on google places..
Plugins have two mode of operations. 1 ) Auto Complete feature You can add location for your choice start typing location name and it will suggest based on your inbut and you can select it. 2 ) Place Type Feature You can ristrict your members to add locations based on nature of your website, like religious website can allows to add Church, Templates etc.
Foodies websites can restrict check-ins for bars, pub and restaurant only..

This plugin also provides to select place types for your members, like if you are foodies you can select food-related place type and your members will able to post food-related places on your website activity stream.
In the same way, you can select autocomplete box if you want to fill up the location by google map API on activity page.
Both the options will show you google map on frontend if you type and select location either in autocomplete box or in place types list.
Also, the plugin provides x-profile field to set location at BuddyPress profile page..
It will also show google map for all the activity posts that has location.
