UPDATE — I haven't updated this plugin in 7-8 years, and I'm not sure if it holds any value or purpose any longer.
With WordPress core having implemented the canonical link by default since version 2.9 and great plugins like All One SEO Pack handling canonicalization, it may very well be obsolete.
