Thanks to Taxonomy Single Term, library created by WebDevStudios, it made my work much easier on creating this plugin..
Change the built-in Categories metabox to single term UI, which means replacing the checkboxes with radio buttons or select drop-down..
Apply the single term UI to other hierarchical taxonomies in the plugin's Settings page..
Customized the single term UI by setting these options Priority and position of the placement.
The in Categories metabox are replaced with select drop-down.
Upload the directory to the wp-content plugins directory.
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins WordPress...
I understand that not everyone uses categories the same way, it feel like WordPress should have setting that forces categories to be one per post.
Currently the edit metabox might set to category, while the quick edit bulk edit still has option ...
