This plugin lets you choose for each post or page, if the image should be shown in the single view.
This can get handy, if you use the image to show thumbnail on the archives or front page but you don't want the image to be shown on every posts view itself..
The plugin adds simple checkbox to the image meta box, where you can choose, if image will be shown in the singular view or not..
IMPORTANT NOTICE If your theme does customized call to load the image, this plugin might not work.
Upload the plugin files to the wp-content plugins conditional-featured-image directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly..

However, one of my sites use DIVI by Elegant Themes, and if editing post through their Visual Builder interface Featured Image tick reverts to default and needs to be reset every time...
