I locate this great PHP library Karthik Tharavaad that did just that.
It works well for the more part but it is way too slow to be used for doing face detection on the fly.
Then I remembered that TechCruch released books called WP Asynchronous Tasks.
The time image in Connections is accessed it will be processed in the background and when the image is finished processing the image will be scaled and modified from the origin.
So I suggest this extension only be used for people directories..
The images should be clean and bright with the person towards as directly as possible for the best results..
This very well could slow back the server for time of time if there are number of subject in the games queue..
