Install CropRefine either via WordPress org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server ..
Visit your Media Library to find 'Refine option, below each media item..
Choose Re-Crop or Upload next to the size you wish to adjust, and the rest is handled for you...
I never liked how WordPress created thumbnails, and always had to go to the folder, download the thumbnails, open Photoshop, and recrop them, before uploading again.
CropRefine makes it so much simpler to scale, re-crop, or re-upload thumbs, saving me hours...
