Otherwise no, uploads folder does not contain files needed to restore your WordPress to working state, so feel free to not backup it for the restoration purposes...
I wasn't expecting PODs to be so breakable but thank I was able to click the restore links on my backups until i found the one with POD setup..
One thing that would make this plugin nicer is if we could Name the version or add note but other wise if people take time to try it out they will see this is the tool on WordPress right now and not secretly hitting you up for PRO paid version..
Even so, currently you can get the backup link emailed to you, copy it to the clipboard, or download the backup from the admin end of WordPress.
