Display Categories Widget will display Child categories on your sidebar.
This is how the widget will appear on your screen, you can add design to the class.
Choose the category to display the child categories in the front end...
The order is ascending and it sorts on the name of the category..
really needed improvement over the default categories widget.
Example I had the widget as my first one in the sidebar, with WP Tag widget below it.
The default spacing between the two widgets wasn't enough, and yet I couldn't add any more CSS because the categories are displayed using Javascript.
Therefore the browser thought the height was much less than what was displayed... just for me. emanuelewpto.
