It adds button above tinyMCE editor on both the page and post editor.
The idea behind this plugin is to add short-linking type with all the bloated code locate in other plugins.
This plugin does recommend the directory nor is data found or amassed.
It uses the built in WordPresspost page ID's in the URL...
Upload the directory into your wp-content plugins directory..
In WordPress select Plugins from menu and activate ERP Shortlinks plugin..
Find Get Shortlink button above tinyMCE editor....

Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS....
