Easy Footnotes will add the number of the footnote where the shortcode was entered and add the text to the bottom of your post in list with corresponding number..
Hovering the footnote label will show the user the text of the footnote using jQuery Qtip2 plugin.
Clicking on the footnote label will take the user down the page to the footnote at the bottom of WordPress post.
Each footnote at the bottom of the post has icon that can be clicked to return to that particular footnote within the post copy..
Simply use the Footnote content goes here and Easy Footnotes will enter numeric footnotes into your post that open on hover and take the user to the footnote at the bottom of the page on click...
I am very appreciative of the fact that the plugin defaults to the styling of the theme, and if I need changes, I can just override the classes from CSS.
It has made the writing workflow easier for clients of mine who wanted to use footnotes but did not want to edit html directly... great plugin flacoman91 it does the job and it looks great. only thing i would wish for is in the wysiwyg to insert the shortcode for me...
