You have beautiful application on how the code links reference and back-links look.
By default each page of your post will have it's own set of reference at the not top and the coordinate will start then from 1 for each page..
The only way to get around this is to know how many posts are on each page and brief Footnotes Made Easy what number you want the list to start at for each of the pages.
So at some point on each page that is from each tag you need to add tag to let the plugin know what number the reference on this page will start at.
5. is the number you want the reference for this page to start at..
To do this you can only yank the exact text as you did the time and the code reference the following note.
Alternatively if you don't want to do all that charge then you can construct footnote name this ref 1 and the code reference the footnote with the given number..
Also if you use the number referencing system you risk them identifying the footnote if you go back and yank footnote and forget to shift the referenced number.....
