I'm using Toolset Types plugin for collecting attachments to the post.
The plugin gives URL of attachment.
I needed to display the number of attachment in template.
Other places I looks we needed ID of the attachment from the DB and it was hard and SQL-heavy way to query the directory to find ID from the URL.
This plugin accomplishes the service without needing to recheck the I rechecked the plugin code. no db lookup....
