If you are programmer who uses GitHub then why not share your coding projects via your WordPress blog by adding snapshot of your profile as widget.
Simply add the widget to your preferred location and enter your GitHub username..

Upload the plugin files to the wp-content plugins plugin-name directory, or install the plugin through WordPress plugins screen directly..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins screen WordPress.
Add the widget to your desired Appearance->Widgets.
If desired, add GitHub API Token and or alter the cache timeout...
it's recommended, especially if you wish to have the cache timeout set to low value, or if you require regular access to GitHub API through other areas of your website...
I didn't need API key when using cache timeout of 30 minutes.
