Install and activate the plugin via WordPress Administration panel.
Unfortunately least on my WordPress installs the plugin puts the opt-out code in the foot instead of head.
So that the Analytics code is not after the plugin code.
Browse the code recheck out SVN repository or subscribe to the development log RSS....
Remove deprecate all part that have been used when Yoast Analytics plugin was active..
