With this plugin you can change your theme without worrying to loose the code you've added...
Navigate to Plugins → Add New from within the WordPress Dashboard..
Click Install Now on Insert Code Lite by Dmitry Mayorov..
Click on Upload link underneath the Install Plugins page title..
Click the Browse button and choose insert-code-lite zip in its download location on your computer..
You don't want to put things like tracking code inside your theme because if you change it, custom code will be gone.
With this plugin all your custom code will be present on your site even if you change themes...
