I've installed Intercom at two sites now using this plugin, have found it to work quite smoothly.
I installed it since i see this product at most of the sites it's elegant and customizable to biggest reason about why i removed it's, it made the website loading 2-3 seconds slower according to gtmetrix and pingdom.
They said interesting talked about asyncing, and they claim their script is not effecting the site but when I look at the requests, Intercom hangs to sie with too much different services and calls..
I have installed the app, gone through the supposed onboarding and I came to the last page at the bottom is says...
You won't see Intercom Messenger until you start free trial. and you need to provide your 'credit card to access the free trial it also says forever, this is sending very mixed messages.
I find this level of untruth unpalatable, marketing 2000 style in the hope you will forget to unsubscribe and they will get payment from you..
