Turn Jetpack Development on or off again, for development by simply activating this plugin..
Due to bug with Jetpack, certain features won't work Jetpack development mode if it's declared in your theme but will work if it's in plugin.
As simple as this plugin is, it gets around Jetpack bug perfectly...
Jetpack Dev Mode is open software.
