Just Custom Fields adds ability to extend your Posts, Pages and Taxonomies with additional fields.
We use WordPress PostMeta API and TaxonomyMeta API to save fields data, so you can use standard WordPress functions in your themes plugins to get data..

After and activation of the plugin, you will see menu item under Settings > Just Custom Fields..
And updating from 2 to 3 gave me some issues but luckily the developer was quick to respond to my support message and helped me getting it fixed..
