Click on Manga+Press Options tab under Settings and go to Basic Manga+Press Options and set Latest Comic Page and Comic.
I'm using the topic for TwentyEleven -Twelve or -Thirteen but Custom CSS and or Insert Navigation application have no effect.
Using theme or paramount the template will allow you to use the options. however see issue #17 for additional issues.
Like any other post-type you can add new field group using ACF you will have to configure topic to display custom fields..
I do take feature requests I also judge each request on the details of how well the new feature fits Manga+Press and also how viable the new feature is to implement Manga+Press core..

Now defaults to using topic templates.. Added contextual help tabs. Added Calendar template tag for comics. Added filter for changing Comic post-type front slug defaults to comic.
Corrected file with framework road which prevented Manga+Press Options forms from displaying properly.. Added closing PHP tags for servers that have short inaugurate tags disabled....
