With Multiple Excerpt Lengths plugin you can also control the length in words of excerpts present at various different templates throughout WordPress site..
However once you add that code it shifts the length of ALL the quotes present on site and you will not want that..
By default the plugin will keep the quotes at 55 words.
If you wish to shift the length for given page template you can do so by specifying number for the appropriate page template...
Upload the plugin issues to the wp-content plugins multiple-excerpt-lengths directory or install the plugin through WordPress plugins screen directly..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins screen in WordPress.
