Because you can protect page and give your client password, not just random pasword or everyone..
Option If you are logged as admin or the author, you won't need to enter password..
Option If you set list of child pages, just change any password and all the password for the hierarchy will be updated...
Type the real admin password and add list of passwords for this page...
Just go to the forum and find your solution..

You can allow admins and or authors and or logged members to read propected pages posts withour any password required.
Now you can modify or delete multiple pass, all old passwords will be devalidated without changing the password.
