Place sharing in sidebars widget areas using WordPress and OSD Social Media Sharing shortcode.
Simple administration can be found under the tab including Drag and Drop re-ordering of the buttons, and the ability to add your own sharing icons.
Remove the icons on per post basis using the check box in the sidebar of the edit post screen.
This plugin does not hook into the filter for post type based display. this means that the sharing buttons will only appear ONE time on your pages, not all over the place like some other plugins..

I spent many, many hours researching various social-sharing plugins, testing several, went with this one for it's simplicity and overhead..I don't need lots of bells & whistles, just simple way for site visitors to share content easily..
Initially I was going to give this 4 stars, because there are couple of settings tweaks I'd like to in version, but I decided that was not fair it's good plugin, and does what it says it will do, and it does it well without adding much overhead or slowing my site's page load speed.
If all you need is to offer readers easy way to share your content, and are happy with offering the major networks, then this is I can recommend...
