If post is being edited by user you get to know about it only when you inaugurate that special post and the opportunity of accidentally overwriting the user's shifts are there..
This plugin will underline the posts that being edited by s center on the post listing page in wp-admin with you having to inaugurate post to find that out thus removing any chance of you overwriting user's changes..
