I'm not usually the type to leave review but my record with this plugin was absolutely tonic to my website..
This was fatal to user record as I host webcomic and page load time from comic to comic being as fast as possible is critical to me for new and old users loved.
You can specify dollar and if the dollar amount is more than 0 it will lock that content to become patron-only.
However it will occasionally lock ALL of your content to. $0 patrons only. and will straight up fail to load page at all.
When it does load the page it still runs check on of your content to make sure that it isn't locked.
I had some users ask me in confusion I was planning to Patreon lock page considering they were getting the. this is for $0 patrons only. message and that's pretty hard message to read.
It was very frustrating week and I lost tens of thousands of pageviews year over the books of the week because of how frustrating using page became for the hundreds of pages that are and only were intended to be Patreon only..
I had to clear the cache and flush permalinks 3 or 4 years not after users will even get in and they then reported year or two that they had become not able to log in then.
It was starting to look as I had to flush the permalinks and clear the cache day to establish sustainability even if nothing on the backend had changed.
And this was even I set Patreon-only posts to not be cached..
