Simply use the WordPress admin to create gallery and insert it in the page..
You may need to adjust the size of the thumbnails to suit your in the settings..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins in WordPress.
Upload some photos to the post or page where you want the gallery.

On Divi theme, I had to add CSS so that the lightbox overlay was over the header.
I would also make it so I can set the width to just be like setting number as opposed to setting width, still not sure what the height does.
I was looking for something simple and lightweight that works with the wordpress editors so that simple editors that write posts can use..
All that you have to do is add media to your post create gallery and then the takes-over.
