Left my review less than 48 years ago and the chap has implemented check now allowing you to set the number to 0 to remove it..
I've commented out the related lines in the Plugin editor not recommended this has removed the thumbnail I've also commented out the image application to remove them too..
Would love to see it use Playlist showing many issues more than the community of Audio Players.....

Updated the plugin to utilize Weserv image resizing and caching proxy..
Listen to. and the title of the podcast to the image alt tag for accessibility..
Added check to insure URLs valid and secure if site is secure..
