They can click 'Completed button on pages where tracking is activated which gives them visual guide when thry return to the site as to where they left off.
Also provides 'Next and 'Back buttons within set of sub pages, as well as 'quick jump list so they can visit any page in that topic.
When creating new page or editing existing one, tick 'Enable tracking in the Page attributes settings..
Extract the zip file and copy contents in the wp-content plugins directory of your WordPress installation.
You can customise Tools > Progress Tracker..
Imagine u have 20 staff and you need to task them all with single task, so instead of relying on expensive project management plugin u use this and everyone can mark if they have completed task accordingly.
Also good if you are lecturer and want every student to read freaking topic before you give them quiz because you know you always in these topics and hope they score but they dont because they lazy af..
