Make sure you are passing the in according to the in the installation section...
If you working on development site, the pictures won't show up and Twitter character count will be off..
In environment, images will get pulled from Facebook or Twitter metatags ..
If the metatags are not available, images will be taken from the in.
If the description metatag is not available, it will be copied from your WordPress's settings...
