It can be configured as for how many photos to show, the title on the widget and width and height for thumbnails..
The thumbnails links to the post where the photo is showing.
They show mouse over effect with version of the in tooptip..
It has option to exclude photos from the view..

Upload `recent photos widget zip in wp-admin and install it.
The plugin contains css file where f.x border of tooltip default is black.
F.x go to plugins, find the plugin, click edit, open the style css, edit it and save it...
Open library, open the photo, insert 1 at the textfield for exclude recent photos...
