Just Activate the plugin and you are ready to go..
Upload the plugin files to the wp-content plugins directory.
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins WordPress...

I've been using this plugin for about 2 years now, on various sites, and I can say, I've never had problem with it.
No complicated settings to configure, just activate it and the bar is removed from the front-end...
Remove Admin Bar is open software.
