Remove the version from WordPress and Increase security and prevent hacks..
Upload remover. php to the wp-content plugins directory.
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins in WordPress.
Go to CTRL+U to view source and confirm that the number has been removed from Meta and the parameters on CSS and javascript files...
Why I use this plugin when I can just put the code into my functions. php file..
You can do that but when you update or shift topic it will be removed along with any other improvements done to the functions. php file...
So this plugin persist on WordPress installation which theme is activated or if theme is updated..
This plugin is ultra simple and does his job.....
