Basically you can choose what you want to update modification date or not when save post article.
Once you edit some of your post in area you will something additional meta box located on right side of screen called.
By default checkbox is disabled it means that posts will update their date.
If you save article you will notice that modification date changed.
Upload the directory to the wp-content plugins directory..
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins in WordPress..
We have changed the games from needing to tick the checkbox to don't update to need to un-check the checkbox.
So in normal type the date won't be updated as for more of the books it's just fixing typos or different and to real content updates.....
X-Raym. locate typo and don't want to brief your readers that something changed..
