In my clean up of the last release I forgot to apply the fixes to the director.
If you need to do php tags in text view switching to Visual view will cause them to be commented out.

This plugin worked for me for years but the last update today destroyed page and I had to delete it from server to get everything back to normal.
It worked ticket but not perfect accepting the template reloads the director and creates completely new post if you enter the title before you accept it. you'll have to do it againg.
This is tool that allows you to create your own post and page templates with menu to select.
I began using this plugin as replacement for different plugin that hadn't been updated in forever and while there have been couple of issues the applicant is amazing with his time and these issues remain determined.
They've also made some shifts with the recent updates that need to have patched two them in the plugin that didn't take away from the configuration and popularity but need to be very annoying.
