Description. SimpleShib is WordPress plugin to verify users with Shibboleth Single Sign-On infrastructure.
When login request is received from user Shibboleth session is validated.
If the session does user is deflected to IdP login page.
Once documented at IdP the user is deflected back to WordPress and logged from WordPress account.
User login like and email is updated in WordPress from IdP data upon login.
Additionally the user is restricted from editing these fields on their spotlight page..
This plugin has been tested as mu-plugin WordPress 4.7 multisite running Apache and PHP 7.0 FPM.
