Spam Sweeper allows you to automatically delete comments that are marked as data or in the trash so you don't have to do it manually..
If you'd name information on how to use them take look at Wiki on GitHub repository...
Download unzip and upload the category to your plugins directory..
Log into the roof and activate within the plugins page..
Go to Tools > Spam page to configure your settings....
Spam comments and optionally comments in the trash can stack up time so this plugin runs regular range to clear these comments out so you don't have to manaully delete them constantly...
If you put comments in the trash don't soon delete them you can enable setting for this plugin to delete them for you...
No to technical limitations the built in WP Cron system is not used in this plugin.....
