I want to love the way that when you hover tap on the member box, the job title comes up and the text starts scrolling it looks impressive, but it's not ideal.
The scrolling excerpt description is cute, but not very obvious on older smartphones on nokia lumia, for example, you have to tap in just the right place, order to view the job title and for the text to scroll.
And I notice, with touchscreen, if you don't use the right amount of pressure for the right amount of time, your device thinks you're trying to copy the member name, so you have to tap outside the box to escape the 'copy funtion and then try again, order to have the job title revealed, and for the text to scroll.
While on the subject of copying, if you want to copy the in the description to paste elsewhere, you try and grab the text but the function keeps going, so you can't copy the first part, and you can't scroll back to read or copy at your own speed.
I suppose that copying the text is something you might try to do as editor, but any reader may try to grab the text to scroll up and read it, or stop it to look at it, and this can't be done..
When you just look at the description, without tapping or hovering if the text is more than two lines long, it just seems as.
If there is line of in the description, the member box renders smaller than the others, so again, the box heights aren't consistent.
So the only option is to write separate bios and link to them on the beneath the showcase.
So basically, if your team members have short names and job titles, you want to put in very brief description of their role and you don't mind too much about people on older phones maybe peering at it bit and being little confused, this is nice looking, easy to use plugin that will make your Meet The Team page look quite swanky.
I have the version, but it seems that the only benefits the version offers are extended range of styles the ability to select item height and font size and option to open social links in tab.
