User ID Changer is simple plugin which allows administrators to change User ID's of users on their WordPress sites..
If somethng untoward should happend, just re-run User ID Changer and reassign Old ID back again..
Re-run User ID Changer on that User and reassign Old ID back to it..
If you are using Jetpack and changing User ID linked to Jetpack, please DEACTIVATE Jetpack plugin, then changed User ID, once changed.
ACTIVATE Jetpack plugin and press Connect to WordPress com, then press Approve.
This will then assign User ID to Jetpack...
The really amazing part is I had another plugin on my site that was also using User IDs, and it was clashing with User ID changer, but the author found fix for the issue...
The second thing that WordPress fails is the fact that it allows the actual usernames to be displayed in public.
Thus, if admin writes post, and does not change how his username will be displayed on the front by his profile page, then everybody will know the admins usernames, thus making this plugin useless, mainly because if the stupidity.
