Although I must say it first had to effect on Add to Cart label.
First thought the problem came from obsolete WooCommerce templates rechecked WooCommerce Status.
coincidence led me to discover it instead had to do with incompatibility with some Woo plugins for invoices shipping or center.
Once deactivated WC Custom Add to Cart labels worked.
We had to build something that needed to shift.
