WP Maintenance plugin allows you to put website on the time for you to do maintenance or launch website.
I was using 'Site Offline or Coming Soon which is basic plugin that allows you to use your own.html for the message however it was blocking the games for your back software.
I've tested bunch of different plugins but this was the only I locate where you will add exceptions from list of IP addresses not just range.
My software needs to be able to crack server to ensure of the replacement process I needed to white list the IP.
You also get nice little padlock number in the Admin bar which is statements as to what the page is public or not..
