The interface is subject aqdded to the Settings > Media admin page making this easy to use than compression plugins or functions. php settings...
Install ' WP Resized Image Quality through the WordPress. org plugin directory by uploading to server or Composer method if you're that type of dev.
After demonstrating the Plugin shift type settings on the Settings page in WP-Admin Settings > Media.
Images uploaded while the plugin was active will stay at original compression level to recompress I recommend Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
After you deactivate the compression setting will be removed and all subject will use WP's 90% compression setting.....
Only I have is that the terms does not mention the important fact. compression %. as mentioned in the plugin setting is counterintuitive.
