WP Responsive Media maintains the editor support as well as all other WordPress functionality.
It's built on top of Picturefill polyfill for the element and uses WordPress image sizes.

Plugins > Add New screen in your WordPress dashboard, or by using the following steps.
Upload ZIP file through 'Plugins > Add New > Upload screen in your WordPress dashboard.
Activate the plugin through 'Plugins WordPress...
After you've activated the plugin, just go to your Post or Page and insert image.
On the front end of the site, you'll now see that the images that you've added are now fully responsive.
