Activate the plugin through 'Plugins in WordPress..
Customise the look and feel of the sitemap by going to Settings > WP Visual Sitemap..
In the director choose number and what to subtract the page from the sitemap..
You can override CSS creating directory named 'wp-visual-sitemap in template with markup named wpvs-front-end.css.
It's advisable to pirate the markup from CSS directory then make your changes..
