It works with any theme. Weaver Show Posts is by far the flexible with not hard to use interface to select.
If you are using Weaver Xtreme or Weaver II. topic there is even more integrated display of posts.. Show Posts in Text Widget.
If or other plugin doesn't add this Weaver Show Posts. includes application to allow Text Widget to support shortcodes..
Add the shortcode wherever you want the books to display......
There are many settings to display the required content and soon tweaked the display with CSS feature.....
