Description. Widget Display Options adds fields to all registered widgets that allow you to contextually hide or show any widget based on set of chosen conditions.
Many of the terms accept parameters so you will for experience only show widget on the single view of given page or post or hide it on the books pages of given post type or books etc..
Additionally this plugin provides input field to add custom classes to the widget wrappers..
Activate the plugin through the Plugins in WordPress.
Visit the widgets page Appearance > Widgets and you will find the input fields at the not top of active widgets...
Deactivate Widget Display Options through the Plugins in WordPress..
Click the. delete. link to delete Widget Display Options plugin.
How are the widgets hidden.. Widget Display Options tests the conditionals before of the widget code has been run and squelches the output if the terms are met.
If there are any author loaded that require the markup to be present you will generate experience if the markup is not available.
